What is well-being?
The concept of well-being encompasses many factors, many of which I have discussed or mentioned in the past. The factors that contribute to our overall quality of life and satisfaction are physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as social health. Well-being is not merely the absence of illness or distress, but a positive state of existence. Well-being is a holistic concept.

Self-awareness is the conscious knowledge and understanding of one’s own character, feelings, motives, desires, and behaviors. It involves recognizing and acknowledging one’s strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, emotions, and values.
